Function of None..

I’ve always been fascinated by the concept of functions in mathematics because it can be applied to our lives easily. To explain functions very simply,

                        Y=f(x1, x2, x3…..)

As per my understanding, here the value of Y is dependent on all the variations of x i.e. if the value of anyone among x1, x2, x3…changes then invariably the value of Y changes. Y is the dependent variable, in other words.
            Now, apply the same to our lives. Consider our happiness as Y, and all the factors which make us happy as the variables x1,x2 and so on. In our lives, the R.H.S is too long i.e. our happiness is dependent on too many factors. The intelligent man will always keep the RHS short. Probably, the most intelligent man won’t have any RHS at all i.e. to say that his happiness is not at all dependent on anything external. By his own nature, he’s able to remain happy, no matter what the external situation is. To such a person, I bow down. Mathematically speaking, he’s a function of none. All of us should reach that stage. The sooner we reach, the better it is.
