Illiberal ignominy

All it took was one tweet – for his employer to sack a man from his star job, to lose his reputation, to fall into the abyss of (il)liberal ignominy. I’m writing about Atul Kochhar, the celebrity chef based out of the UK.

Twitter was abuzz with outrage heaping (and rightly so) on Priyanka Chopra for a role in the recent episode of Quantico. The recent episode of the television drama showcased a scene where PC thwarts a plot by “Hindu nationalists” to “frame Pakistanis” ahead of the summit on Kashmir. Stop laughing, now! Notwithstanding the obvious massive holes in the plot, the protagonist foils the plot by finding out ‘rudraksha’ – the sacred chain worn by the “saffron terrorists” – a term conjured by the despicable likes of Chidambaram, Diggy Raja and the clique serving & protecting the Italian queen and her dynasty called UPA.

Coming back to the episode in the discussion, there couldn’t be anything irreconcilable with reality than this. With 25165464616 terrorist attacks directly indicting the involvement of Muslims in all corners of the world, and zero of Hindus, the makers of the series didn’t think it will a travesty of reality to present this twisted plot. Nevermind! It’s (f)art and pardonable and they have the freedom of expression and all other sundries. But for an Indian actor PC to accept this role doesn’t seem too innocent. It’s not like somebody pushed her to do it. She would obviously be aware of the script and willingly she would have donned the role.

After backlash in twitter, PC apologized and said she was a ‘Pround Indian’ while she should have actually apologized to Hindus if she has chosen to apologize. This again prompted various reactions. One among them was that of Atul Kochhar’s.

Let’s see the veracity of the content of Kochhar’s tweet. He was indeed wrong about the number of years he quoted, which he corrected in the subsequent tweet. The attempt of the Islamic invasion of India had started way back in the 7th century; there were initial setbacks but were eventually successful in invading India. This is a part of recorded history - from Alberuni to Firishta, and other Persian & Arabic historians. But since India is a Shariah-compliant country, and whitewashing of Islamic history in India is a state policy, a vast majority of the people are not aware of how bad was the Islamic invasion of India.

This is another matter and let's keep that aside. How did the fiberals of India react to this? If you can't take a guess, keep this as heuristics - whenever there is a conflict between Islam Vs anything, the fiberals take the former's side. This episode was no different - all in the day's job of the fiberals. One went a step ahead to flagged the tweet to the employer, JW Marriott which severed its ties with him. He was constantly harassed, threatened, and was made to apologize. Finally, he had to delete his twitter account. All these just for a single tweet. Fiberals deliberately tried to destroy the career of a man for just speaking out his mind. These are our self-appointed guardians and purveyors of free speech.

This episode brought out a well-known fact - the self-proclaimed 'liberals' of India don't give two hoots for the principle of free speech. They stand for a party, religion, tribe etc. per their convenience but never for the principle. If you think they stand for "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it", you are in for a big disappointment. As Joker says in the iconic movie The Dark Knight - "their morals, their code... it's a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble". The self-same people never stop virtue signaling, shouting from the rooftop that the democracy and "liberal values" are under threat.

Second, if you are too vocal and have gained considerable fame and are politically incorrect in social media, it's good not to advertise your employers. Or even better - be anonymous. Because the first place they want to hurt is your livelihood.

Lastly - in India like in the contemporary West, actors are accorded a high status in the society and their opinions valued. It's people's stupidity that keeps the actors on a high pedestal in the society. Actors' opinion should be confined to acting allied topics, not beyond that. We have seen how incoherent, uneducated an opinion can be on issues of national importance when you see an Aamir Khan, a Kamal Hasan or the latest a Prakash Raj. Clueless about the lurking realities, yet showing missionary zeal to preach and educate the nation. Nana Patekar summed it up in this short clip

In ancient Rome, actors were accorded low societal status and more importantly, Romans gave actors pariah rank in the society because "they are faked by profession" as NN Taleb puts it. Roman emperor Julian prohibited Pagan priests from attending theatre so that actors don't get the elevation in their status in the society because of their presence and attendance. Perhaps the Romans went too far but we have a thing or two learn from Romans.

About time we paid heed to the warning of Peter Hammond

Random browsing has sometimes yielded me some wonderful information. Sometimes in fact, I’ve hit the goldmine. In one of those random browsing sessions I came across this man and his book in which he's made a few very interesting and accurate phenomenon resulting from the growth of Islam in any country. In fact in one of my earlier posts, I had mentioned about the propositions he had made.

As we witnessed fresh Islamic violence in many parts of India (again!) last year, I wondered whether the same propositions could be applied to individual states. Interestingly the results matched the proposition. Though it can't be taken as an axiomatic truth, it's very close to it.

So, what happened last year? Last July there were series of riots between the Bodos (large ethnic tribe of Assam) and Muslims in Assam, Azad-Maidan riots in Mumbai (the motive was nothing to do any issues related to India) and tens of riots in Uttar Pradesh, a state ruled by ultra-secular party called Samajwadi Party.

If you followed the usual ‘secular’ media, chances are less you knew the details of them. The UP story was almost blacked out by the entire spectrum of mainstream media. The secular lambs in media choke while reporting anything where the ‘secular’ parties are involved and people from the ‘religion of peace’ are the perpetrators. If not for the social media, we would never have known many crimes and even riots that mainstream media faithfully routinely blacks out.

Mea Culpa! I missed out another ‘secular’ state. Didn’t I? No, I have missed two in fact. We’ll come to the other one a little later. Let me talk about the first one: West Bengal. This February, West Bengal (24 Paraganas) saw a slew of anti-Hindu violence for avenging the alleged murder of an imam of the local mosque. Many were injured, many houses were destroyed. As with all other riots, media turned blind eye on this incident too.

What do these states have in common? – An overwhelming majority of Muslim population. Take a look at these figures:

UP – 17.1%
Kerala – 24.7%
WB – 25.2%
Assam – 30.93%
J & K – 67%

Note:

1) These figures are from 2001 census.

2) Given the immense growth and fertility rate among the Muslims all across the world, there should be considerable increase in these figures as well. Our government was so pusillanimous that it couldn’t disclose the breakdown based on religion in the 2011 census.

3) The figure that is given for J & K is of entire state of J & K. If you consider the Muslim population of only Kashmir valley, it’s more than 98% and it’s close to being a Dar al-Islam.

Alright! Now the obvious question - Can one infer such a thing i.e correlation between communal violence, Jihadi terrorism with the increase of Muslim population by some isolated incidents of violence? May be not! But there is no denying the fact that whenever the Muslim population increases beyond a point i.e. when they become the majority, the rights of the then minority will be in jeopardy.(Also, anti-national activities will rise. Same could be said about Christian-dominated regions like Nagaland or Mizoram but it has many other factors to consider, has a different context and is beyond the scope of this post)

To cut the long story start: Infiltration of Bangladeshis has been a big problem from many decades. It has affected both the states of West Bengal and Assam. Although well-known, the secular parties outrightly denied at worst or tried to play it down at best because the illegal immigrants for them don’t appear as national threats but as potential votes. That’s the level our ‘secular’ politicians have plumbed. This is the primary reason for the Muslim-Bodo clashes that happened last year. That’s the short story of two states. Now coming to the other two states: Uttar Pradesh and Kerala. Current political scenario in both the states is completely dominated by Muslims or those whose hearts selectively bleed only for Muslims. Their hearts bleed to an extent where they get ready to jettison terrorism cases against Muslim youths, who according to them are 'mistaken' as terrorists; to an extent they give hero’s welcome to a convicted terrorist like Madani. All in all, there is a huge competition to prove who is more secular in the lot. This kind of political climate provides a fertile ground for the anti-national activities. As recent intelligence has proved, these have become safe havens and breeding ground for Jihadi forces.

If this rampant minoritysm morphing as secularism goes unchallenged and if the same political climate continues where every issue of national importance is reduced to mindless debate of secularism vs communalism, if hindus continue to be in deep slumber then, consider a strong foundation is being laid towards making India an Islamic Republic.

The Land Jihad

I assume you all have heard of the term ‘love jihad’. If you haven’t, just googling it will throw out thousands of results. It is a phenomenon that is rampant in several areas of coastal regions of Karnataka and also in many parts of Kerala. When I heard it for the first time, I thought it was some kind of a crackpot conspiracy theory but later instances proved otherwise. But did you know there is something called as ‘land jihad’?

Let me first interpret the word ‘jihad’ in the present context. Jihad in simple terms means a religious warfare for the cause of Islam. Though the means remain violent most of the times, a few times it can be non-violent also. This land jihad falls into the latter category. But the cause or the end remains intact: The cause of religion.

Land as an investment avenue

There are many investment avenues that can be used to leverage your capital amount of investment. The basic lessons of investment say that over a long duration of investment horizon only two investment avenues are profitable more than any other types of investment: The first one is investment in stock market and the other one is investment on land. Both these investments, in a way are an investment on the economy of the nation. So, especially when the economy is booming, the stated investments can give you very high dividends. As India is a booming economy, the importance of investment in these two avenues can’t be stated more. Here, the focus is on land so let me stick to it.
Land Jihad by ‘Religion of peace’ – With Kerala as an example

Islamists make no bones about their intention to make this nation Islamic. The way things are shaping up in the nation and the kind of support they are getting from all the quarters both openly and covertly, perhaps they will eventually be successful. Among many ways of capturing the nation, ownership of the land is one of the main ways. Just remind yourself how the church captured and controlled the African continent by owning most of the land.

It’s a common knowledge that Muslims like to be amongst themselves. That’s the reasons you find ‘Muslim ghettos’ even in some of the well-developed countries of Europe. I’m not trying to implicate anything wrong per se. But given the ‘Muslim only’ mindset, it is difficult to deal with them in many cases. For instance, it is almost impossible to find a house to buy in a completely Muslim-dominated area if you are a non-Muslim. This is just a small example of demographic seize. [The media especially the loathsome likes of NDTV, The Hindu et al. wants us to believe exactly the opposite where Muslims are portrayed as helpless victims]But contrary to this, the Hindu land-owners by and large sell off their lands to a good price without thinking any of the other larger consequences. The ghettoization is a dangerous trend, very well captured in this well-researched article.

Kerala, former ‘God’s own country’: It is no longer cool to refer Kerala as god’s own country anymore. God disowned that state long back if ever he owned it in the first place. It is heading up steadily to become another Kashmir. Defense analysts say the kinds of events that Kerala is witnessing now is strikingly similar to the events that Kashmir witnessed a few years before things went out of control. Let me add some factual spice to it: Muslim fundamentalists have declared to make Kerala an Islamic state in a few decades. The avowed promise was really serious that the chief minister of Kerala had to concur they actually vowed so. This small article actually outlines briefly how land Jihad is taking shape in Kerala.

As the above article briefly explains, Muslims in many dealings are willing to pay price which is higher than market value. Unsuspecting Hindus by the lure of higher price just sell off their lands for a higher price. As with many cases, Hindus are caught off guard here. There is nothing objectionable-legally-as everything is done in accordance with laws. This trend of land Jihad started in the Muslim-dominated district of Malappuram then it did spread to other cities like Kasargod. One of my friends who happens to be a resident of Kasargod gave me first-hand account of all these. In his own words – “Kerala is turning out to be a hotbed of Islamic Fundamentalism. A powerful land mafia is behind all to usurp the lands from Hindus with intimidation & terror so as to create a strong Muslim land bank. Unemployed Muslim youth are reared with cash, motor bikes, mobile phones to foment tension in Hindu pockets thereby create panic to sell off their lands. Gulf money + Forged money is deployed for the purpose. Being a part of the central cabinet & a partner in the state ruling front, they have the necessary protection from all quarters. To top it all, the Hindus are divided into umpteen numbers of parties”.

This is just a glimpse of what RoP guys have done in recent years in one particular state. Let's look at the RoL (Religion of Love) guys now. They are far better networked, far wealthier than any cult group you can think of.

Land Jihad by ‘Religion of Love’

Let me ask you a question to start with. Who is the largest landowner of India? Any guesses? I think this is fairly simple. Yes, the Government of India (GoI). But let me ask you a tough one. Who is the second largest landowner of India? You perhaps don’t know because it’s a tough guess. Indian Church is the second largest landowner of India. Surprised? May be you are.
Globally, the church is third largest landowner

Christians constitute about 3% of Indian population (according to 2001 census) and the church is the largest non-government landowner in India. Talk about disproportionate asset allocation! While at present the Christian population could be anywhere between 5-6% of the total population, it is still a case of disproportion. (Although some evangelical websites like this places the percentage to as high as preposterous 25%! )

But what’s wrong in owning any amount of real estate in legal terms you may ask. Fair question! If it were to be all legal, then the question would have been only about the moral and strategic choices and implications. But the case is not so. How did the church acquire so much land in the first place? It is through the land grants since the days of the British. It’s like an inheritance of the colonial period. But the sad part is that even after the independence, there was never an effort to legitimately redistribute this.

This article could be a primer for the issue under discussion. One more disturbing fact about this issue is that it is not discussed as it should have been. You can see a very few intellectuals like Rajiv Malhotra raising this topic often and we can never expect our mainstream media to discuss these issues which have far reaching consequences. This is because most of the Indian media is controlled from outside India, mostly by church and also because the excessive fetish and allegiance it has towards the twisted idea of secularism.

The church’s nefarious designs for India to make it a Christian nation can be seldom disputed. Why should we fear the church’s hegemony on land ownership? Anyone posing such naïve questions should care to study the kind of divisive role the church played in the continent of Africa. Why go even there? Just watch our own back yards of some the north-eastern states of Nagaland, Tripura, etc. You can better understand the church and its design. It always wants to create state within the state. The kind of role it has played in the North East India is an unshakeable testimony to the fact.

Last Tidbit : If the issue is not debated with all seriousness it demands, if the trend is left unchecked, I think we will be laying a strong foundation towards making India a Chrislamic  Republic and that can be unarguably the greatest disaster to befall on us.

The usurping of Islam over any nation or society should be feared because...

Islamophobia – a term coined by the apologists of Islam when the non-Muslims express their valid fears about the usurping nature of Islam. Islam has reverse Midas touch - whatever it touches, turns into desert. As Islam is one of the most important monotheistic religions, there is a need to understand the core belief of monotheistic religions to understand Islam. Monotheistic religion doesn’t just imply devotion and belief in one god; it also implies intense hatred for the other gods and beliefs. This was true for the other monotheistic religions like Judaism and Christianity. But over a period of time, they have changed & have become less-hostile to the non-believers. But Islam, to this day remains very loyal to its source and thus hostile to all those who do not share its set of beliefs i.e Non-Muslims.

If Islam was just another religion, then the mindset that fears the rise of Islam could be easily bracketed as a phobia but it’s not as easy as it seems. It is radically different from any other religion. So, when there is a rise of Islam in any corner of the globe, it is definitely a red flag for the non-Muslims. Because the rise would always, without exception end up in a demographic seize.

Many people across the globe are beginning to realize it lately. Some are afraid to spell it out fearing it might flout their ‘political correctness’. Europe, in its mad rush towards pursuing and establishing the idea of multiculturalism gave in a lot to Islam. Now, it has started to pay the price for the blunder. It's telling a tale when Europe is slowly being transformed into 'Eurabia'.

The problem with India with regard Islam is much more complex. Much non-sense in India has happened in the name of secularism, composite culture and multiculturalism. In India, the political class, the media, the ‘intellectuals’ and many others are in accord in protecting the interests of Muslims, most of the times - at the cost of others. The clamor for secularism will exist only as long as the Hindus remain the majority. Once the baton passes to Islam then the ideals of democracy, secularism will be laid to rest.

The first domino to fall for the assault of Islam would be freedom of speech and freedom of expression. Freedom of speech to Islam is as alien as flying saucers to Earth. Then diversity gets the second blow. There will be no diversity at all as all will be emulating Arabs and Arabian culture. Aesthetics, Music will go for a toss because they are officially banned in Islam (Mohammad, the founder of Islam intensely disliked music). What to say of yoga and the rest of spiritual process! They will be banned as well. So, India as we know it would vanish like dust in the wind.

The Muslim majority state, even if has embraced democracy, over a period of time will be pressurized to drop democracy and to adopt shariah laws. Even if the initial rulers are moderates, somewhere down the line, the extremists or radicals would seize the power. We had seen it happening all over the world. Our neighboring nation, Pakistan is a classic example for this.

In his controversial book "Slavery, Terrorism and Islam: The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat" Peter Hammond has explained how Muslims behave according to their percentage strength of the total population of the country.

Islamization begins when there are sufficient Muslims in a country to agitate for their religious privileges.
When politically correct, tolerant, and culturally diverse societies agree to Muslim demands for their religious privileges, some of the other components tend to creep in as well.
Here's how it works.
As long as the Muslim population remains around or under 2% in any given country, they will be for the most part be regarded as a peace-loving minority, and not as a threat to other citizens. This is the case in:

United States -- Muslim 0.6%
Australia -- Muslim 1.5%
Canada -- Muslim 1.9%
China -- Muslim 1.8%
Italy -- Muslim 1.5%
Norway -- Muslim 1.8%

At 2% to 5%, they begin to proselytize from other ethnic minorities and disaffected groups, often with major recruiting from the jails and among street gangs. This is happening in:

Denmark -- Muslim 2%
Germany -- Muslim 3.7%
United Kingdom -- Muslim 2.7%
Spain -- Muslim 4%
Thailand -- Muslim 4.6%

From 5% on, they exercise an inordinate influence in proportion to their percentage of the population. For example, they will push for the introduction of halal (clean by Islamic standards) food, thereby securing food preparation jobs for Muslims. They will increase pressure on supermarket chains to feature halal on their shelves -- along with threats for failure to comply. This is occurring in:

France -- Muslim 8%
Philippines -- Muslim 5%
Sweden -- Muslim 5%
Switzerland -- Muslim 4.3%
The Netherlands -- Muslim 5.5%
Trinidad & Tobago -- Muslim 5.8%

At this point, they will work to get the ruling government to allow them to rule themselves (within their ghettos) under Sharia, the Islamic Law. The ultimate goal of Islamists is to establish Sharia law over the entire world.

When Muslims approach 10% of the population, they tend to increase lawlessness as a means of complaint about their conditions. In Paris , we are already seeing car-burnings. Any non-Muslim action offends Islam, and results in uprisings and threats, such as in Amsterdam , with opposition to Mohammed cartoons and films about Islam. Such tensions are seen daily, particularly in Muslim sections, in:

Guyana -- Muslim 10%
India -- Muslim 13.4%
Israel -- Muslim 16%
Kenya -- Muslim 10%
Russia -- Muslim 15%

After reaching 20%, nations can expect hair-trigger rioting, jihad militia formations, sporadic killings, and the burnings of Christian churches and Jewish synagogues, such as in:

Ethiopia -- Muslim 32.8%

At 40%, nations experience widespread massacres, chronic terror attacks, and ongoing militia warfare, such as in:

Bosnia -- Muslim 40%
Chad -- Muslim 53.1%
Lebanon -- Muslim 59.7%

From 60%, nations experience unfettered persecution of non-believers of all other religions (including non-conforming Muslims), sporadic ethnic cleansing (genocide), use of Sharia Law as a weapon, and Jizya, the tax placed on infidels, such as in:

Albania -- Muslim 70%
Malaysia -- Muslim 60.4%
Qatar -- Muslim 77.5%
Sudan -- Muslim 70%

After 80%, expect daily intimidation and violent jihad, some State-run ethnic cleansing, and even some genocide, as these nations drive out the infidels, and move toward 100% Muslim, such as has been experienced and in some ways is on-going in:

Bangladesh -- Muslim 83%
Egypt -- Muslim 90%
Gaza -- Muslim 98.7%
Indonesia -- Muslim 86.1%
Iran -- Muslim 98%
Iraq -- Muslim 97%
Jordan -- Muslim 92%
Morocco -- Muslim 98.7%
Pakistan -- Muslim 97%
Palestine -- Muslim 99%
Syria -- Muslim 90%
Tajikistan -- Muslim 90%
Turkey -- Muslim 99.8%
United Arab Emirates -- Muslim 96%

100% will usher in the peace of 'Dar-es-Salaam' -- the Islamic House of Peace. Here there's supposed to be peace, because everybody is a Muslim, the Madrasses are the only schools, and the Koran is the only word, such as in:

Afghanistan -- Muslim 100%
Saudi Arabia -- Muslim 100%
Somalia -- Muslim 100%
Yemen -- Muslim 100%

Unfortunately, peace is never achieved, as in these 100% states the most radical Muslims intimidate and spew hatred, and satisfy their blood lust by killing less radical Muslims, for a variety of reasons.
With India, the problem is staring at face with many incidents reported from Kashmir, Assam, Mumbai. The case of Kashmir, Assam are solid examples of demographic seize. The exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the late 80s and now the constant violence unleashed from illegal Bangladeshi Muslims on the native Assamese can be case studies for the demographic seize and the usurping nature of Islam. Rather than turning blind-eye towards these issues, the issue needs to be addressed head on. Else, mark these words - there are many would-be Kashmirs waiting to erupt like Kerala, Assam, West Bengal where radical Islam is gaining a strong foothold. The time is to act now rather than regretting after reaching the point of no return!

Secularism, its Indian version & Saffron terror

There are many corrupted words amidst us. Some of them are god, love, soul etc. People have misused these words so much that they have deviated from their original meaning long long ago. Whenever people use these words you can be assured that they are using them in the wrong sense in most of the cases. We have one more word in India which is more corrupted than any other words and the word is secularism. Even though every party and ‘intellectuals’, journalists talk about it, they don’t have a clue about it whatsoever.

There is an immense need today to define secularism than ever because of its rampant misuse. Just an example: If you see the political parties most of them call themselves secular and almost all unequivocally maintain BJP as a communal party. In fact, there is no party which is absolutely secular in this nation. BJP tries to woo the majority vote bank. The rest of the parties try to woo the minorities eyeing on their vote bank and shamelessly call themselves secular. If BJP is communal then rest of the parties are communal too. But they act on the garb of secularism.

If we observe the appeasement policy of the political parties and the 'secular' media, we clearly can infer they will woo only the majority among the minorities but not the real minorities. That is to say, if there is a conflict between the Sikhs and the Muslims, you can be sure that they take the side of Muslims even though Sikhs are the real minorities compared to the Muslims. The real minorities in India are Parsees, Jains, Buddhists. But the media portrays Muslims and Christians as the only two minorities. Politicians don't have any problems with that because there is where their vote bank lies.

Secularism in the real sense should mean there should not be any kinds of discrimination whatsoever based on caste, religion and sex. But does the situation in India echo this fundamental characteristic of secularism? The answer is no. There is obvious deviation from the real secularist principles. Or to put it in a better way, India was never a secular republic in the real sense like say the U.S. In the U.S, it doesn’t matter what religion, race, or sex the person belongs to, he would have equal opportunity in all the spheres. Competence and ability are the only criteria for ascendance in any fields. Unfortunately, secularism exists just as a word in India. Or to say it in a better way, secularism is just a circumlocution of minorityism. When media claims it has championed secularism, you can be sure that it has championed minorityism.

K.M. Munshi had warned about this over fifty years ago:

"If, however, the misuse of this word 'secularism' continues ... if, every time there is an inter-communal conflict, the majority is blamed regardless of the merits of the question... the springs of traditional tolerance will dry up. While the majority exercises patience and tolerance, the minorities should adjust themselves to the majority. Otherwise the future is uncertain and an explosion cannot be avoided."

If you see the recent trends and happening in the country Munshi’s words appear prophetic. The latest example is the communal violence bill that the government is mooting to pass. According to the bill, when any communal violence occurs, no matter who instigated it, the majority will always be the culprit. If the bill is passed, it will surely have disastrous consequences in the long run. Though, most of the times majority has exercised tolerance, it can’t be expected till perpetuity when their own existence is at stake.

Discrimination is rampant in India based on the religion and caste. Somehow, the appeasement of religious minorities has become official principle of most of the political parties. The trend has reached dangerous levels where people are ready to compromise on national security just to appease some section of society. If the same trend continues, the doomsday for India is not far away. Someone had put it well “In a democratic polity the power rests with the majority with due protection of the minority interests. But in India this principle has been turned on its head by rampant minorityism. The wishes and feelings of majority can be trampled underfoot and ignored with impunity in the secure knowledge that the minority vote banks will deliver power to the ones who most stridently champion their cause. The majority because of division in its ranks can do little but wring its hands in dismay”.

About the caste politics: It is impossible to do politics in India for people who don’t understand caste equations. It has percolated at all levels of governance. The nation clearly discriminates people based on caste. None would have counted the kinds of reservation that exists in this country. India is perhaps the only nation where many group of people wants desperately to remain backward. There is a huge competition to remain backwards. Some expedient politicos like Mayawati and the likes have made caste, religion based reservation their trump cards.

Now nowhere existing saffron terror is imminent

In one of the press conferences the then home minister Chidambaram said that the saffron terror was more dangerous than any forms of terror. There was one incidence then in Malegaon (in which some Hindus were accused of an act of terror) which prompted him to give such ludicrous remark. One can be sure that even thousand such incidences by the Islamist terrorists would not have prompted the ‘secular’ person like him to talk about the green terror which was more global than any kinds of terror.

Rahul Gandhi who is a novice in some fundamentals of administration and has got to the place not by any competence but by pure nepotism was reported voicing the same opinion of that of Chidambaram (Wikileaks reports). If someone asked both these ‘intelligent’ people to explain the statement made, they wouldn’t surely be having any answers. It was obviously done to appease some section of people and also to satiate the hunger of the ‘secular’ media of India which was waiting for this.

When Malegoan blasts happened, when it was said that for the very first time an act of terrorism happened for Hindutva ideology (at least it was reported so), it really made some sections of people extremely happy. It made many pseudo-secular politicians, ‘sickular’ media, ‘intellectuals’ very happy. The reason is simple. Most of the terrorist acts in India happened for two ideologies: Either Islamic or Marxist. So, whenever people talked about the Islamic fundamentalism the ‘great’ media resorted to same old set of rhetoric ‘Terrorism has no religion’, ‘Terrorism has more socio-politico-economic causes than religions ones’ and the likes. But now they’d found a new defense in the form of Hindutva terror (though the case is still in the court). The alacrity that they showed in this case, had they showed for the right causes, they would have brought some awareness among people and done something good for the nation. The same people who said ‘terrorism has no religion’ did not shy away attributing this lone case to ‘saffron’ and thus to Hindutva ideology. This is a clear display of double standards and nothing short of intellectual prostitution. Most of these media are the brothels in which the person who has paid (in some form) gets the chance to screw whatever he wants. The thing that always gets screwed is the truth.

Now Hindus (those who are not deluded by some tacky ideology) are beginning to understand that no leader or political parties can protect their interests. Their great nation, culture are under attack from within and without. Series of (global) conspiracies are in line for them. They are on their own and can rely on none. They are being killed like animals by Islamic religious fanatics or by Marxist ideological fanatics. Their tolerance is being seen as a weakness, not as a virtue. It is plain insanity to clamor for tolerance when their very existence is at stake. The great Sikh guru Gobind Singhji said it rightly “When all means of redressing a wrong have failed, it is both just and righteous to unsheathe the sword”!!

My Books Review: October '11

Negationism in India – The book starts with the explanation of the term ‘negationism’ in general. Negationism is a denial of historical facts, not the reinterpretation of the known facts. The original usage of the term lies in the denial of the Nazi genocide of the Jews and Gypsies in World War 2. Once the reader gets to know the meaning of negationism, the focus shifts to the Indian version of it which is more wide-spread than the former.

Continued efforts are made to make the people of India to forget the persecution of Hindus by Muslims over six centuries. An excerpt from the book says “Since about 1920 an effort has been going on in India to rewrite history and to deny the millennium-long attack of Islam on Hinduism. Today, most politicians and English- writing intellectuals in India will go out of their way to condemn any public reference to this long and painful conflict in the strongest terms. They will go to any length to create the illusion of a history of communal amity between Hindus and Muslims.”

Then the author explains how negationism became official policy under congress rule. Great efforts happened to re-write Indian history in a large scale. Then explanation shifts to the distortion of history by Marxist historians and how the academia fell into the hands of Marxists and how they used it to rewrite history according to their ideologies. Many Marxist historians are analysed like: Romila Thapar, Bipin Chandra, Irfan Habib, Gyanendra Pandey etc. Negationism can’t happen without consistent support of the academia and the media. But now, negationists control most part of them. Therefore people seldom get to know the real facts.

In the later part of the book, the ideology of Islam & the character of Mohammed (the founder of Islam) are analyzed. It becomes clear from the argument that Mohammed had political ambitions than spiritual ones. The author demolishes the statement “Islam is good but some Muslims may be bad” but instead proves the opposite and shows how with following Quran and hadith strictly, no Muslim can be at peace with Non-Muslims ever.

This is a milestone book written by the Belgian author Koenraad Elst. Enormous amount of studies of various histories, religion, philosophies, politics, social structure have gone into the making of this book. The author has stayed steadfast to truth and not hesitated in touching a subject which is a ‘taboo’. I’d say this is a very essential book to understand how propaganda is created, how it is sustained for a long period of time by both outside forces and the inside ones and how it destabilizes the country. This is a scholarly work, a highly recommended read.

English media does it again

If you observe these sardesais,& burkha dutts you will observe one thing in common. These people wear the mask of secularism and by default fail to understand the essence of being secular. This is not the problem of only these kinds of people. This is the problem of most of the people who think themselves as the paragons of secularism. In India secularism means appeasing the so-called minorities and not giving a hoot to the majority.
Let’s take a very recent example of what happened so-called god’s own country kerala. A group of religious fanatics cut the arms of a professor. But this incident did not become big news at all. This incident found a place in the news channels for a day or two. But just remember when Varun Gandhi spoke that he would cut arms of those who try to harm Hindus, it became a prime news for the channel for over a month. For that, he had to spend some days in jail as well, even though he came from the most influential family of Indian politics.
This is the disadvantage of being a Hindu in India. You can’t speak out your mind. No matter what atrocities others do to you, you are bound to be tolerant. If you react, it is branded as 'saffron terror' and the English media has mastered the art of branding. I conclude by saying there are no enemies to Hindus except Hindus.
